For to “speak out” everything you think about certain political or social issues, has often been dangerous and is still not harmless. To conceal one’s political views is an important element of the survival strategy in “dot bg”.
Lately, a new kind of conformism popped up, often hidden behind either the so-called “political correctness” or something else. We avoid using words such as gipsy or queer, as well as a whole load of words associated with social and class stratification in society – destitution, misery, suffering, luxury, exploitation, class solidarity…
Hearing the last two words, some people are going to bristle up and exclaim: “This is Marxism”…
