A postage stamp of face value of
120 levs and an illustrated envelope with a special postmark were issued
on 13 February by the postal administration in Bulgaria in commemoration
of the centennial jubilee of the oldest information institution in this
country - the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency. Its designer, artist Peter Petrunov,
has chosen to depict a colour graphic image, symbolizing the trajectory
of the information flow, as subject of this emission. The stamp, formatted
28.5x39 mm, has a notched perforation. It has been printed in the typography
of the “Bulgarian Philately and Numismatics” company in a circulation of
1.5 million pieces.
