    Pursuant to Art. 98, subparagraph 8 of the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria


I HEREBY DECREE:

  
    Awarded shall be the 1st class Order of The Horseman of Madara 

    to Mr. GABRIELLE NISSIM,

    the author of the book 'The Man Who Stopped Hitler', for his extraordinary deserts in publicising the role which the Republic of Bulgara and several prominent Bulgarian political figures played in rescuing Bulgaria's Jews.
