THE DUVANLII TREASURE
A burial dated from the first half of the 5th century BC was found in the Arabadjiyska Mogila tumulus. The burial offerings included a pectoral, a ring, a necklace, and 8 gold earrings. In the Bashova Mogila tumulus there were a gold pectoral, two silver rhyta, a silver cup and a cylix. The Goliamata Mogila tumulus revealed two gold pectorals, a gold ring, two silver kantharoi, silver-and-gilt plaques, a sword with ivory handle and a leather helmet. The findings are exceptionally rich and probably belonged to the local dynastic family.
