    A highly decorative material for wall facing and architectural details. One of its better known trade names is Monastir. 

    Its colour may vary from beige to ochre, with numerous shell formations. It is obtained through perpendicular cutting of the rock layers. It can be easily and beautifully polished. It may be used in both exterior and interior facing.
